Jim Kahr was born in Chicago. At the age of 20, he played with Bobby Blue Bland. His first job as a bandleader was with Junior Wells. Later he played with the likes of Joe Cocker, John Lee Hooker, Freddie King...An accomplished guitarist, as well as an excellent songwriter.
